Remember Japan’s giant sinkhole that gobbled up a 5-street lane near the JR Hakata railway station in Fukuoka City? And remember how the tech-crazy Japanese fixed it in two days flat? Sadly though, that exact same sinkhole is sinking. AGAIN.
The road was closed near the station as part of it had begun sinking again. According to a government official, the road had sunk up to 7 centimetres over an area of 30 square metres.
